Meet the Founder, Alyssa!

Hello! I’m happy you’re here! I have always been interested in geology and would collect rocks as a teen, but my love for rock hounding truly began about five years ago when I discovered the Lake Superior Agate. I’m a mom of three and, as a newly divorced woman sharing custody, I wasn’t quite sure what to do with my free time. That’s when rock hounding became my great obsession.

I work as a mental health nurse and was often working double shifts. During those shifts, I frequently wondered, “What am I going to do with all my agates?” One night shift, this idea started to form, and I decided to put it into action. And here we are! Thank you for stopping by and supporting my small business.
